To add an appointment or reminder, select "Edit" --> "New record" from the menu or use the hotkey combination.
To edit an appointment or reminder, select "Edit" --> "Edit record" from the menu, use the hotkey combination or double click the entry you wish to edit.
You will be presented with the Appoinment/Reminders dialog and will have the following fields to use.
- Appointment with - Name of the doctor/dietician etc that the appointment/reminder is with.
- Reason - State the reason for the appointment/reminder. An example might be "Yearly checkup."
- Notes - Add any extra notes for this appointment/reminder. * Date - Set the date of the appointment/reminder.
- Time - Set the time of the appointment/reminder.
- Sticky - Keeps the window open after "Add" or "Update." Useful when adding several items to the database.
- Reminder type - Sets the iconized type of appointment/reminder.
- Add - Adds a new record with the information currently entered in the dialog.
- Update - Updates the currently selected record with the information entered in the dialog.
- Cancel - Closes the window with no changes to the database.
You may clear any old appointments/reminders by highlighting them and selecting the "Edit" --> "Delete record" menu item or pressing the hot key combination. You will always be asked to confirm before deleting a record.
