BgMetrics - Appointments/Reminders
The Appointments/Reminders page is available to help track upcoming events. In some cases you may want to set doctor/dietician appointments only but provisions are in place to track several events.
There are icons associated with different events that will help the user easily pick specific types of appointments out of the list.
The types of iconized events are:
- Bg reading reminders
- Medication reminder
- General reminder
- Doctor (appointment)
- Dietician (appointment)Optomitrist (appointment)
- Call (doctor/dietician)
- Fax (doctor/dietician)
Some of these selections may not make any sense without an alarm or notification system. For example, you may want a reminder to fax your doctor a Bg report on the 15th. It would be nice for the program to "jog" your memory a day earlier on the 14th or maybe on the 15th so you don't forget. We hope to add a "Chron" type utility like this to the program in the future to notify the user of any upcoming events and decided to plan for it right away in the Appointments/Reminders database.
